The Very Beginning

Hey there, my name is Jesse Bibbee.

I am creating this blog to document my life and my journey to location & financial freedom. I have no idea how it’s going to formated or what the plan is, but I’m just going to start typing and go with the flow.

I was inspired by Sean Ogle and Chris Guillebeau to start this blog. I first heard Sean on a podcast while I was in Bangkok. I was in the gym that I paid $0.60 for a year membership pass, and I was listening to him talk about how he worked as a financial analyst at a corporate company that he hated, and then quit to move to Bangkok when he got back (it was a lot longer of a process, but you can listen to the episode

I keep asking the question of:

“If you could do anything in the world and money was not an option/you had unlimited money, what would you do?”.

Here’s the thing…

It’s pretty much the same answer every time.

I want to travel the world while building a successful business, living dangerously, inspiring others, and making the world a better place.

Boom. Plain and simple.

I choose that answer every time, but here’s the issue.

I keep allowing myself to be affected by the “noise”. By the “shiny objects”.

I’ll dream up these crazy visions of being somewhere exotic, learning the language, eating the local dishes, going on crazy adventures – all while spending a handful of productive hours on work in the morning. Then I’ll wake up the next day and allow myself to go right back into the same work routine and work mindset.

I can feel myself turning “grey” and it’s an awful feeling.

All this being said, I’m going to start planning my escape. I really do have all the tools that I need for success (some digital marketing skills, VIP Kid, freelance at the agency), so technically, there really isn’t a TON of risk.

I know I can make it work regardless. I am confident in my abilities.

“If one man can do it, another man can do it. If it’s been done, it can be done again” – forgot.

This is my blog. There will be many random posts like this and there will probably be some structured ones as well.

I might start tracking finances and goals on here too, but we’ll see.

If you’ve read this far, cheers! You’re a real one.

Bye! (Idk how to close out a blog post lol)
